FOR A GREAT CANDLE EXPERIENCE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TAKE CARE AND MAINTAIN THE CANDLE ACCORDING THE INSTRUCTIONS.
WITH EACH OF YOUR HARMONY JAR CANDLES YOU WILL RECEIVE INSTRUCTION FOR PROPER USE.

THE FIRST BURN
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way (or close) to the edges of the candle container to create a melting pool. If you don’t, your candle will have a tendency to form what is known as a memory ring of where your first burn wax pool formed and they will “tunnel” in subsequent burns. The next time you burn your candle, no matter how long you burn it for, the wax pool will more than likely only burn to the edges of where the first memory ring was established. This is why the candle should burn between 3 to 4 hours each time you light it.
TRIM YOUR WICKS
Keep your wick trimmed to 5mm and if it ‘mushrooms’ nip the top off. This helps control the size of the flame so as not to burn too fast. You will get the optimal burn time over the life of your candle. The trimming of the wick not only helps with burn time, but it also ensures you don’t get any residue or soot from your wick. Wicks that are left untrimmed can be messy, they can produce a smoky effect and will burn faster. Simple and easy trimming of a candle wick will lead to an amazing candle glow each and every time
KEEP IT SAFE
Do not leave your candles unattended and placed away from draft, children and pets and always place candles on a heat-resistant base and set on a level stable surface. Always read and follow manufacturers’ directions for use and safety, and extinguish a candle if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container. A burning candle should not be used as a nightlight. A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. Do not burn the candle if the container is cracked, chipped, scratched or damaged in any way. If soot forms on the inside of the jar, extinguish the candle, wait for it to cool, then wipe with a damp cloth. Trim wick and relight.
HOW TO STORE YOUR CANDLE
When your candle isn’t in use, store in a cool dry place and cover it to protect the quality wax from dust, which can dull its scent and cause problems during burning. Condensation on the surface of a candle is a sign it has not been stored correctly, or has been stored for too long. Make sure to wipe this away with a paper towel before lighting. Storing candles for too long can affect the scent, so use your candle in a reasonable time to make the most of its beautiful fragrance.
